By registering on ProspeRx site, you agree to abide by and consent to the following Privacy Policy.
Personal information:
Any data that PROSPERX collects from you is necessary for the identification of the candidate taking the courses and the test. The certificate awarded after passing the test is only meant for the candidate and no one else. This is why; we collect the following information from you, which all fall under “personal information”: Your full name, Age, Address, Cell number, email, Current occupation, Name of the employer, Your State board of Pharmacy license number and payment info to enroll for the course. We also ask NABP eProfile ID number, day and month of birth which are the current standards of transmitting your Continuing education credits to NAPB’s CE monitors, once we obtain ACPE accreditation. PROSPERX doesn’t collect other confidential information like Social Security Number (SSN), year of birth and gender. These are not required for the scope of the services offered by PROSPERX as of this time. In future, when required, PROSPERX will amend its Privacy policy to include these. PROSPERX values the confidentiality of your personal information. Candidates have the ability to change their personal information as needed and as required.
Use of personal information:
At this moment, PROSPERX has no partners or vendors other than our developer. So, all of your data will be used internally, till after ACPE accreditation, when your data including Continuing Education credits will have to be reported to the respective CE broker or state boards of Pharmacy. We may also furnish your credentials to your employers (or prospective employers) and other agencies as per their request when you pursue career advancement or further education. Till then, your data will be used only for the following purposes:
Course development: We will use your email to notify you of new course offerings, newsletters, blogs and most importantly, renewal of certificates. Newsletter offering is a subscription-based service and optional. With your feedback, PROSPERX will continually modify the existing courses better suited to improve your skill set and knowledge about several aspects of pharmacy and patient care. In future, based on your feedback, PROSPERX will offer other courses too, enabling you to improve your performance and achieve success. We will use your data to manage the trends of your course-likings and use the clicks as patterns for improvements and new course development.
Web development: Your feedback will help us improve the website periodically to cater to your needs, browsing capabilities and improve user friendliness. PROSPERX will also improve on the outages, glitches and other system-related issues that may arise while accessing the courses and taking the tests.
Communication: This includes answering your questions related to courses and PROSPERX portal. PROSPERX will notify you of any updates; reminders of renewals of certificate courses, marketing about new courses, send replies to your queries and any other general matters related to PROSPERX services.
Legal processes: PROSPERX’s course content and test questions are meant for the education of pharmacy staff towards their career development. Access to the course content and tests are exclusively reserved for the candidates who register and pay for them. Candidates must not distribute the materials in the form of screenshots or pictures to others. The courses and tests developed by PROSPERX are an intellectual property, proprietary to PROSPERX and candidates are obliged to respect that. In case of any fraudulent use of website, misrepresentation on behalf of candidate while taking the course and/or test, plagiarism, and illicit use of PROSPERX’s intellectual property, PROSPERX can pursue legal action against the candidate for which personal information may be used. Candidates may lose the Certificates of the courses completed, continuing education credits (after ACPE accreditation) and access to ProspeRx portal, in addition to legal action for any of the above illegal and unethical behaviors.
Management of your Personal Information:
You are responsible for maintaining your username and password. It’s important to set up a strong password, possibly a combination of letters and numbers, preferably using an upper-case letter and/or a symbol.
You do not have the option of deleting your personal information. You may request us to delete your information by emailing us at pharmacy@prosperx.info. You may update your personal information as needed and as required. We do not recommend you deleting your profiles since this will also erase all history including the courses taken and certificates.
You may enable cookies and firewalls in your computers for better security of your data and avoid a potential breach through your servers. You may set the level of security and privacy controls in your browser as per your requirements.
PROSPERX runs the courses and maintains all data through a secured server backed up by SSL certifications obtained from our hosting company (Blue Host). SSL is the industry-standard method for protecting confidential information. Candidates’ payment information is securely handled by Stripe, an industry leader for processing online payments. We have a robust, secure server to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of our customers or candidates who will use PROSPERX for their educational needs.
PROSPERX will maintain candidates’ physical documents, certificates, registration forms and other personal data in a manner that ensures integrity of the program and confidentiality of their information. If not needed, PROSPERX will discard and dispose of their data in a very secure manner consistent with HIPAA.
Disclaimer: PROSPERX has made sure to operate with high level security in place to protect the integrity and security of its system, to protect your personal information and PROSPERX’s IP. However, no method of transmission over the internet or means of electronic storage is 100% secure. There may be hackers that may get into the servers. PROSPERX cannot guarantee any such unseen cyber threat or security breach. In order to maintain the reputation and integrity of business, PROSPERX will do everything in its capacity to protect and minimize leakage of personal information of its customers, in case of a cyber attack. In such cases, PROSPERX will communicate with you via email so you can take appropriate measures to protect your personal information. By using PROSPERX’s website, you agree to consent electronic delivery of communication regarding security, administrative and other issues arising out of holding an account with PROSPERX. You hold PROSPERX harmless in case of any security breach and disclosure of your personal information.
Data Retention:
PROSPERX will retain data like your certificates and course history up to a certain period allowed by the server and for accounting purposes. In future, PROSPERX will have to retain continuing education credits as per accreditation rules and policies. PROSPERX will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services; to maintain a record of your transactions for financial reporting, audit, and compliance purposes; and to comply with PROSPERX’s legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce its agreements, and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
